Newscorp Corporate HQ

“The London Bridge Quarter has helped to spearhead a renaissance in this important part of the capital, attracting scores of new businesses and creating thousands of jobs,”

Boris Johnson in 2016

When News Corp moved to new headquarters at London Bridge, chief executive Robert Thomson described the building as “a platform for the future – a platform on which books will be written, scoops uncovered and the first draft of history will be delivered digitally and in print.”

World renowned lighting consultants Nulty+ created a dynamic almost theatrical feel to the spaces and chose Spectrals Blade system for the break out areas paying particular attention to the colour palette and matching key furniture components with the vertical baffles to create a very integrated look. In addition using Spectral’s Linear-ICE suspended luminaires between the slatted ceiling the transparent luminaires give a ‘lighter’ impact to the ceiling.

Nulty+ said “Our architectural lighting design gives each floor its very own unique look, yet the overall feel of the building is one of camaraderie and support.”
